Growing the Physician Workforce: A Community Panel Examines the Challenges for Recruitment and Retention in the Fort Drum Region
The health of a region’s residents depends on the community’s ability to retain and recruit a full complement of health care professionals, which is a particular challenge in rural areas. CGR was engaged by the Community Foundation of Northern New York to document the deliberations and findings of the Physician Retention/Recruitment Community Panel, a group of community leaders focused on the needs of the Watertown/Fort Drum region.
